Ashish joined Maffei Structural Engineering in 2019 after earning a MS in structural and earthquake engineering from SUNY Buffalo. His areas of interest include seismic design of concrete and steel structures, design of long span structures, and seismic evaluation and retrofit of existing buildings. His projects include the seismic evaluation of existing buildings at University of California campuses, design of data center buildings, and seismic peer review of tall buildings. Prior to enrolling at Buffalo, Ashish worked for two years as a practicing engineer in Mumbai, India. He gained experience with computer analysis and collaborated in the design of mid-rise and high-rise concrete buildings. Ashish is proficient with structural engineering analysis, design, and drafting software.
